What every pro will start you with is to tell you to achieve synchronized movement with your teammates. In order to score you need to attack and in order to attack you need to develop harmony for the passes to culminate into a score. Therefore get into your teammates rhythm and anticipate where best to pass the puck and in so doing you will start gaining the much needed possession.
When you are attacking, avoid direct shots for few of those bear results. Instead, attack the goalie at an angle coaxing him to move away from the goal and once they are out of position shoot to a player who will surprise the goalie with a quick shot to the unprotected net. If the goal is exposed and you can give a direct shot a try go for it without hesitation.
Many have found out that corner shots are often lucky without explaining why but you require moving your players body, a little confidence and practice to stun your opponent in this manner. However, do not get frustrated when you do not hack it as fast as you would want.

Build formation styles that you will use from time to time when in certain situations and always have your eye peeled for the right moment to go for your opponents net. When you must score or risk losing attack every time you get a chance. If your opponent exposes a weak point skate towards their exposure and drive the puck into their net.
